Where to find housing for HID for 93-97 Camaros
Ok guys I have searched and searched and I cant seem to find any info on what housing you guys are using to replace the 93-97 housing....I am set on my HID kit from a sponsor here, but he couldnt recommend what housing to use that will fit in the stock headlight setup...I dont wanna simply put a HID kit into the stock bulb housing as I have retrofitted the silverstars from the 98-02 camaro into the 93-97 housing by cutting the bulb out and sealing the new bulb in their...but the HID wont look good if I do that..any suggestions on what housing to use that will aim the light from the bulb a lil better..trying to avoid going to a projector here but I may have to..seems like all the threads I find are for the Firebird/T/A

If you don't use HID specific projectors or housing exclusively designed for HIDs you will get awkward beam cutoffs that most likely will be blinding oncoming drivers. If there was a housing replacement for 93-97 you wouldn't have to search because everyone would be running them!
If you want to go to a projector check out the hella 90mm conversion.

Theres also the Hella FF75.

I'm not sure if anyone is running HIDs or not but it essentially fits in the stock location with hardly any work.

Here is the place that sells the housings for 93-97. Not sure if you can get just the housings without buying the hole kit.
This will be one of my next mods.

I made my own. People used to put silverstars in the stock housing by siliconing them in. I just took a set of Phillips 4300k 9006 HIDs and did the same thing. Been in there since 04' with no problems.

I bought my sealed beam to bulb conversion kit from www.eurolights.com ... You can possibly get that kit from them and then get the HID to fit the housing they sell 'cos it uses an off-the-shelf bulb (can't remember the number, 9006?)
