Eliminating PWM
I'm installing a 96 4l60e into a 94 4l60e camaro. I understand everything involved in the swap except for eliminating the PWM. I can't seem to get a straight answer. Some people say you need to swap the valve body and wiring harness. While others say there's a way to eliminate it by just installing a different valve and disconnecting the PWM solenoid, which I would prefer. If anyone could help point me in the right direction it would help alot. I know you can get a built trans with the PWM eliminated so how do they do it?

Is deleting PWM something i should do after installing a 3500 stall in a bone stock 69,000 mile transmission? Will it help extend tranny life or help it from bucking when at low rpms and cruising slow speeds?

Not top secret , You likely already know it but if you want to see it to just email me and I will send it to you also lol. I try to send the correct mod for the correct application.
Seriously though didn't want to post it here because different model years have to be done different ways . Didn't want to have people pulling there pan. Only to find that what I sent him was different from theres. And would not work on any 98 up f body.
