yank and perforabuilt perform well
Mods:
TR224, TSP 5.3L 2.5 heads, 25% powerbond pulley, pacesetter headers, TSP catted y-pipe, ls6 intake and injectors, gmmg exhaust, lid, ported stock throttle body, 3.23 stock rearend.
---12.6 at 114mph dead hooking on nitto drag radials
added level 2 performabuilt tranny, 1 7/8 AR headers and their ORY pipe, and yank PT3800 2.0 STR.
---11.80 at 115mph (1.69 60-ft) dead hooking on MT street radials (they are a solid 1/2 inch plus taller than the nitto drag radials).
i gained a solid 8 tenths. i am pretty happy. i almost wish i would have went with a pt 4000. yank didn't think i had high enough shift points for that stall when i talked to them. who knows. tranny didn't skip a beat and the stall performed well. by the way, this is definately a full weight car. i have the jack and spare tire removed along with the fog lamps but not much else.
