Lot of haters, a few diehards, mine's hanging tough and
gave me pretty good efficiency by the RPM numbers.
Not as tight as my little TCI, but that one didn't last.
Are they still around?

Had one for almost a year. Noticed it started slipping and pulled it. Car is not my DD, lots of launches with bolt on LS1. Replaced it with a Yank that I've had for about three years. Main problem with the fuddle is the lock up clutch starts slipping then sends debri into the trans and then you need both replaced. Sounds good to me, on the plus side they do get the car moving well.

There were a few "grades" of the Fuddles. I got the
HP/Street one specifically for its larger lockup clutch.
The reason I went with them, was not cost to much
as the chance to spec my own converter like nobody
offered stock. If I could get everything I got, at a
higher build quality (like spun balanced) I would have
thrown down the extra $200. But the performance
converter people don't want to build what I want to
drive. Except Fuddle did, at less than the big guys
charge for off-the-shelf, and for me it's held up.

I must have been lucky.
I bought their lowest priced stall, $325.00, if you can believe that.
It was a 3000 stall w/a 2.0 str. At the time I had 2.73 gears and other then a catback, was my only mod.
That was 50,000 miles ago, and 26 bottles of nitrous.
Still pulling just fine.
I don't think fuddle is around anymore though.
Just as well too.
Heard the quallity of their product went downhill fast during their last couple of years.

I bought my truck and it had the top of the line fuddle 3400 in it. It lasted through the original owner, then through the guy I bought the truck from. Then I broke it two week to the day that I bought it, lol. Debri from the converter went through the tranny and it met its demise as well. I really liked the way it drove, but now have a Circle D 3600 and a PB LV2 trans.

My Fuddle 3400 turned out to be a 4 cylinder stall welded to our flywheel. Luckily I pulled it before it blew. My 4000 Performabuilt is a quality stall and well worth the money.
