Default 4L60E doesnt kick down sometimes

I've noticed my 4L60E won't downshift on occasion, even if at wot, also it will shift through the gears really fast, not fast shifting. I mean like 1-2-3 one right after the other. This happens at the same time of the downshift problem even if I floor it and sometimes it feels as if the tc is disengaging/engaging randomly . I think its tuning. It works fine when manually shifting. Also there is no slipping I've noticed. What do you guys think?

Finish getting the stall in, get a tune, and then see what you think.

Is the car all stock now? Has it had any tuning done?

yes it was tuned by a local shop but it never quite came back right. It went in shifting just fine and came out in limp mode.Turned out to be a blown fuse.Took it back to him and he said he couldn't tune it due to a bad cam or blown engine. I didn't wanna spend more with him so I took it home and have been researching it. Im gonna get a new cam in a few weeks. The cam thats in the engine is an unknown cam that came with the short block when I bought it from a local guy. The engine seems ok. done a compression test and it came back good , all grounds seem ok and no detectable vacuum leaks. Got aftermarket valve springs and supporting components.

Dude lemme tell ya its well worth it to make a drive to a well known ls1 sponsor because the right tune can mean the difference between a good running car and a broken car. Look up sponsors and see what you can come up with. I go to slowhawk in mass its only 1 1/2 hours away. He found that the guy that tuned my car before jacked up line pressures through the roof which is not very good for the trans. Its well worth it to take it to a sponsor.

I wish I could but I live in nortern cal. All we have is local tuners. The guuy that tuned it is reputable, but unfortunately he couldn't do mine. I'm gonna try to fix it by process of elimination since I'm sure I got mismatched parts.

Thats what I thought ,but I might have done something wrong during the engine swap too. Everything on my end seems to check out so I don't know
