When I got my new trans+stall in I broke it in on the way to the track. So about 40 miles and I let the 150 shot do the rest.

Chris at Cirlce D said to make sure fluid was correct and as soon as it is rolling to beat the hell out of it. I had it in probably 20 mins and I had already launched it and did 100ft burnouts lol

Besides the lock up clutch there is really nothing that needs "break in" in a converter. 50 miles isnt much. go drive around the back roads for a while or go drive to the nearest town in Wasua. thats like 50 miles right there. lol

Me either. I went down the road 1/2 mile stopped, rolled into a wot launch and still grin to this day. That was over 6 years ago.

I put about 200 miles on mine. That was the longest 200 miles of my life. But was well worth it when I started to pound on it.

I put my 150 mile break in just about on one trip lol. Just do the break in because if you dont and the coverter ***** up your screwed because you voided your warranty from yank! They will tell you this!

Ya, that's the plan. It cost way to much money to **** it up. lol. Plus I don't really want to drop the trans again.

Im sure you will let us know how you like it
Keep an eye on your fluid level. My experience with low fluid is in my ss3600 install thread. Knock on wood my trans has been great with lots of wot on the street and probably 20-25 1/4 miles passes this year.

No, I didn't rebuild the trans and yes, I put in new fluid, filter and gasket when I put the converter in.
