Affordable 4L60E Output Shaft??
I've been looking for a output shaft for a 98 4L60E 2wd out of my LS1 camaro. All I can find are 20 dollar used ones on ebay or 600 dollar ones. Anybody know if there are any inbetween? Ive googled and nothing. Ive looked at a few websites couldnt find much there either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys, Carl

Take it easy on him Vince,
He's all excited because he's on the accelerated automatic transmission learning program at Jake's Performance and has 4L80E on the brain.
He's been helping us out for a couple of months and has graduated to starting to learn to build TH350's and TH400's. He get's to see all the fancy high dollar billet shafts, drums, custom parts, etc everyday so he must think that stuff is inexpensive.

Let's keep schooling you here too...
Not necessarily applicable to a 4L60E but in the case of a TH400, which is a known offender for the converter charge pressure taking out engine thrust bearings, a billet input shaft can exacerbate the issue. How?

No worries. I was easy on him and I kind of already expected that the post was talking about another unit or as you know there a lot of keyboard builders out there! Just having a little fun.
eLiT3SnIpEz welcome to the industry! You will learn a lot working for Jake I'm sure. The best advise I can give you is learn the power flow of transmissions and the rest will come. Vince
