stall installed finally

Our cars already come with the Corvette servo and you want a Transgo shift kit, not B&M. Find a knowledgeable installer if you're not tranny savvy. My shifts are crisp and firm with a 3600, Transgo, and tuning. My lock-up is set for 4th gear only at 45mph.
I agree on 3.42s. Some people don't mind them with a stall, but I hated the 2.73's even with the stock converter.

Jegs does not even list a converter of that description on their site. Sounds like it's a combination of the 2.73 gears and possibly just a "loose" converter. I've seen cars with similar TCI and B&M converters act that way. From the way you describe it, my Yank SS3600 is as tight at low speed as your 3000. Maybe gears will help you tighten that back up some.
If the car rolls in park something is off with the linkage and it's not going quite far enough to engage the lock pin for park.
As mentioned above, the fbodies come with the "corvette servo" and do not buy a B&M shift kit. The transgo HD2 kit is what you want and get a Sonax HD 2-3 shift valve while you're at it.

If your car will move in park then the first thing is to check to ensure the cable and linkage is aligned correct. Either that or the parking pawl is broke. (I think that is what it is called).
You should ensure that when the shifter is in drive that the trans is also in drive, revers, park, etc. I can't think that it would typically get out of whack with a stock shifter. I know it is easy to do with aftermarket shifters and cables. You don't want the shifter to be in drive and the trans to be halfway between two gears.

thx 4 all the replies, 98 cayenne was kind enough to give me a ride and what a difference his stall was vs mine. with 3:73's he was barely giving it gas upto 2k rpm and mine is at atleast 2500 to keep up with normal traffic. im committed now so i need gears , shift kit , tune , & i think i'll replace my poly trans mount with original to reduce vibration. he thought i should also go back to original TA since my vibration noise was kinda bad at low rpm 40-45 mph. anybody else have a vibration issue with a new TA? ps linkage fixed with a spacer , anybody know where i can buy new linkage reasonable? thx cheers!

Your trans definitely needs a tune asap with a bigger converter in the 4l60e. You also need to ditch the 2.73 asap. It's just such a tall gear it takes a lot to get the car moving. Rear end gearing is like getting on a mountain bike and starting out in a mid range gear...works the same for cars. The lower the gear, the less effort you have to give the throttle to get the car moving. Some 3.73s will be great with a 3000-4000 stall and 4l60e. Gear it, tune it, enjoy it!

what specifically would you ask a tuner to do besides unlock 1st, 2nd, 3rd only lock in 4th at 44 mph? maybe shift points? anything else? fyi my converter has heavy duty parts which may make it alittle less street friendly but if i hammer it it feels great im just complaining about daily driving issues. if i was a teenager i probably would have said this was the best mod i've done.

first was a mail order TSP tune (i did ask for street friendly) , next DRM tune on the dyno , picked up 13 rwhp plus power more power over entire range but neither tune touched the auto trans. DRM did tweek the torque mgmt but didnt want to delete completely. say if your good buds with CJ maybe you could talk him into adj my tune for the trans for say $150? never hurts to ask. cheers! he told me $450 for 1st tune from him.

You have to have YOUR vehicle on the dyno to correct its particular issues, a mail order tune will not do it.
