Default 4l80e swap help

I did LS swap in my 73 camaro I installed 2006 4L80e from truck .now I am having problem with yoke it's too big.so I like to know can I put any thin yoke .my car had original 400th turbo transmission.here is the picture of both yoke. On the left its 400th yoke and on right from medium truck.but the big yoke won't go between the tunnel cuz it's big.so like to know what model of yoke can I buy to install with original drive shaft.

It won't fit in the 80e or it's too long?
They use the same yoke.

Like JoeNova said, use the 400 yoke. That thing on the other one is a dampener the manufacture would put on

It won't fit cuz 400 has thicker dia from outside and short. the 4l80e has thinner outer dia and it's long.so like to know what should I do now?

I'm having my drive shaft shortened as we speak and the yoke that was given to me from the guy that rebuilt the trans gave me the 400 yoke.
Maybe you have the wrong yoke or seal in the trans not letting it go in.

Just asking, you sure it's an 80e? Does the tranny have 32 splines? Was there an option for a smaller spline count in some applications? I know the 80e pretty much only came from 3/4 and more tom trucks, so should have the 32 spline count shaft

I'm still wondering why you haven't just used the TH400 yoke.
They're interchangeable. Most aftermarket companies now sell the yokes as a TH400/4L80e yoke.

Yeah me too.
I took the drum brake off my sons 80e core and put my 400 yoke on it to spin it over.

Yea, the drum brake. Makes since being in the izusu. My tailhousing looks a bit different. This might be a simple tail swap and the 400 yoke will work
