I have a bad vib. from the converter. TCI tells me to turn it one whole over. I just cant see that fixing anything because i thought the converters are suppose to be ballenced. right? Just wondering if anyone has had luck in this working. If not im gonna just put the stock one back in and sell my TCI for a better converter.

Late F-body flexplates have been known to crack. The early ones
are better built. I got a '98 virgin flexplate for my converter install.
The converter -should- be balanced, but there's always a chance
that the converter and/or flexplate mount-points are not exactly
true to center and rotating them may make a more fortunate
alignment of the planets. Or something.
But if you can, check and be sure you don't have a damaged
flexplate.

had a vibration in mine when i first put it in ,about the same rpm. unbolted it from the flex plate and turned it 1 bolt hole, and the vibration went away,i did not want too try it either, thinking the same as you,it should be balanced but it worked!!
