Haven't heard of them, but the parts they list for their build are what I'd put in my 4L60E (if I still was running one, LOL). I would call Speed Inc. and see if you can get some references from happy customers. You don't want to buy a tranny long distance unless it's going to be bulletproof. References, references.

I will be picking my car up sometime next week with a new max evil tranny with vacuum modulation.
I think I made a good decision on it. The FLP level IV gets a lot of good reviews too, it's the same price.

If you're planning on nitrous you will definately want the highest level tranny they offer.

I have the stage 3, had it so far for a little over 1K miles. No legit times with it yet, it was near 90 degrees out compared to my best times of temps in the 50's. Anyway, it definately shifts harder than my stock one with the b&m shift kit ever did. Downshifts pretty much instantly, compared to the lag of the stocker. Mods are in sig and I doubt I'll ever come near the power rating of this trans. I bought it because I didn't want any headaches of worrying that it'll blow up.

I think thats how the car started actually. Nice.

I use a Cmotorsports (Built by Les) Level 2, used to pull several 11.01 @ 122 wheels up launching nitrous out the hole! Awesome trannies.

I wouldnt suggest buying the Pure Evil Trans. I bought one and mine broke after 3 weeks in the car with a bolt on engine and a 3500 stall. When i tried to have it replaced on warranty i was told that somebody called them and said that i installed a used converter in the car and that they do not warranty hard parts. Then they wanted me to pay another 80 dollars shipping to send it back to them and then on top of that i would have to pay for any parts that it may have needed.I had done a little business with speed inc up to that point and customer service was always great but i was very disappointed after that transaction.
