Default What torque converter??

Just wondering what TC's you guys use in a stock 4L60-E trans. I have successfully cut 1.54-1.55 60 ft times with my Yank PT4000. Just wanted to see if everyone else is having good 60fts with Yank or if anyones having better times with another brand. Thanks for any responses...Sam

Oh BTW my car is bolt on only, with a stock 4L60-E..

The best to date 1.63 with a Vig3200 (DA 2000ish). I should be able to lower it when it cools down, but I dought I can get in the 1.5's without shinneys.

Your 1.5's are sweet

I used to live in Fredericksburg VA, I still miss MIR

Thanks man, I run at MIR all the time, just ran in the EFA shootout there on Sat and got first place for the SI class. Fredricksburg isnt too far from me. Maybe try a 3:73 gear, you'll probably hit the 1.5's than

1st place during the shootout! Good deal.. 3:73's would help, I just hate the idea to put money in this 10bolt then Plus Moroso doesn't beleave in VHT

He still got out ran all day at the shoot out, I had a bad run in the finals.

Here is his car launching:

You are always going to get Vig vs Yank guys, there are many threads out there on it. Any car that does a 1.5x SI is not too shabby. You have plenty to be proud of with that car. Do the posi and dyno tune it.

I agree 1.5x SI & pulling a wheel is definitly something to talk about. My goal is to get as close to 11.50 as possible (don't want a roll cage). Hopefully during winter I'll be in the 11.6's, Im always 2/10ths slower in the summer. Are you guys still using 10bolts?

I'm not anymore, my spider gears went in December so I just bought a 12 bolt. 1BAD98LS1 is, and he runs 4:10's, but it's days are numbered I am sure!
