Default Opinions on VIG3200

What you guys think of this as your daily driver? And also going to the strip once a week? Hows it work with your cam setups?

you will like the single disc 3200. I bet you will drop .5 of your et if you can get it to hook

I have a vig 3200 on my GTO and love it. I did loose some mpg as it is also my dd but I think I have had my foot in it a little more since adding the converter.

I have a 3.46 rear end not sure what you have in your car (2.73 or 3.23,????) which may make it feel a little different but I would say go for it. It was the best mod I have done to my car.

I talked to allen at FMS and he said I would be fine running something like the F13 if I wanted with this stall on a 112lsa.

No track times yet but I hope to get some next week if everything works out.

We had one, lost a few m.p.g. but gained about.5 on the E.T. at the track. Worth the trade off I.M.H.O.

i was also woundering the same thing. im probably going to get a cam in the 230's maybe 230/237. should i look to the 3500 or 3600, or just stay lower with the 3200. i was more interested in the 3500. also i didn't want to highjack thread but u seemed done and i dont want to be crucified for not searching when there is a topic started. thanks. nick

edit: drag racing once or twice a year. street driven during summer. 3.23's and bolt on's befor cam.

from what I have read on the forum here is that the vig seems to stall a little higher than it says making something like a TCI 3500 close to a vig 3200...

I am not saying that is 100% just what I have seen other people post...

I daily drive mine and go to the strip almost every week if the weather is cool. You do lose a few MPG but its well worth it, I guess its the price you pay for running low 12's with only simple boltons.

its a fairly high 3200 raiting, you don't need to get a 3600 if your wanting something like a tci3500..

a 3200 might work for you, you also have to figure that with the more power you put into it it will stall a little bit high. also i would go with the 3200 for now then when you get the cam in if it is not right the you can use the free re-stall that a vig has a re-stall it a little higher.

my Vig 3600 flashes upto 4000!!.. If I were to do a Vigilante again.. I'd go with a 2800 or 3200 ... esp if it's your DD..
