Default 4l80e

Has anyone used a 4L80E tranny behind a turbo F-body car? Basically same thing as TH-400, although they are probably alot heavier. What are the pros/ cons of a built 4L80E vs a built 4L60E?

I know that Parrish has one in his truck... The Ohio Boys have one in their turbo CE (as stated above). There are about 3-4 in my area... I will be testing mine out this year

Yep. Talk to Rossler if you want one that can take about anything you want to throw at it. Or if you want one with a brake. Love mine. Already started its second season with no issues. Locked converter on every pass also.

Do you use the bigstuff to control your trans? I am thinking about making the change. I have FAST now with TCI controlling the trans. If so how do you like it?

Yes. BigStuff 3 controls all shifts and lockup. I love it. At the track I put it in 3. Push the t-brake button, bring it up on boost, let go of the button and BS3 controls it from there.
