PY 3400 trouble here...
We just installed a PY3400 converter in our 2002CE and just drove it a little (few hundred feets) and I can't get it to stall over 1700-2000 rpm without tire spinning...
What am I doing wrong??????????

Okay I still don't have 200km on it...
but a good 25km at least... we did a few tests...
And according to our datalogger, we still cant get any more than about 1900rpm of difference of torque converter slip from a start and decreasing as we speed up...
If we punch the gaz pedal anymore, we get wheelspin... so we still cant get her to start at anything over 1800-1900 rpm.. no improvement here...
Do we REALLY have to wait till 200km before giving up?
or do I need to tune something in Hp tuners for that stall to work as expected?
thank you for your help!

The only "problem" this looks like, is more torque
multiplication than you can hold back (brakes) or
hook up (tires). What's the STR on this converter?
Something big I expect? Maybe the coupling is
rolling on faster than you expect given the rating
but foot stall is generally not to be relied upon.

Another thing is when I floor it in 2nd gear (from a start) it won't spin tires but won't rev any higher than 2krpm

if so, tuning for the automatic might be needed as to timing ect.

No, it has always been automatic!
