Mine did it sometimes when coming to a stop and at low speeds shifting gears, like when parking. Raising the in gear idle has kept mine from ever doing it again.

Mine did it before the cam and then the cam install only made it 10 times worse. Its been made better with the tune but it still surges on me every now and then. Makes it a hassle to try and pull it into a small garage.

yep. Stock cam here too. Just had my idle bumped up 100rpm. Car wanted to stall when I went in Reverse. No more problems after raising it.

Normal with any lighter-mass, smaller-diameter torque
converter. Raising idle is good, but backstopping it
with idle airflow that makes sense for the real needs
of the motor (so it does not have to hunt, trim, forget
and repeat) is what will settle it down for good. Also
a bit more idle spark advance.
