Get a transgo plate from a sponsor here. don't even think of getting a used one out of another transmission.

Will do! I didnt realize a used one would be a problem, it didnt seem like a wear type of item. I'll check with the sponsors. Ron

Yes they do wear around the check *****, the transgo plate is a little harder.
Getting one out of something else isn't a good idea because of different hole sizes, locations, etc. Unless you find one with the same code which is kind of time consuming.

Can someone explain more about the difference between the stock and the transgo plates. I'm using a modified stock plate and was wondering should I use the Transgo?

The transgo plate is a little thicker than oem plate. Both work very well with updated check *****.

The updated ***** are made of a plastic material that isn't abusive to the metal seperator plate. Year, make and model would be the only questions that would need to be answered.
