tune after converter?

Default tune after converter?

i had a smaller converter but im going to a bigger one, and the car is tuned already but will i have to reutne for a bigger converter?

I think it would depend on how big the jump in stall is......

2800 to 3800, i heard i just need shift point fixed, any ideas?

yes you will most likley need to retune for proper shift timing ,

well i had a TCI fabbed up from CIrcle D, so im just gonna get them to restall it....wat happens if i go WOT? should i be scared if i do?

Just be prepared to bang the rev limiter, Not a good idea in my opinion, Try it & see what happens..Next week my new trans & Yank 4000 goes in from a Vig 3800..I will have to do the same thing, adjust shift points in case she bangs. LOL

Did not get a tune with my converter, a 3000 stall. Run's, shift's just fine.
I have read where with the bigger converters, 3500 plus, that some of them will hit the rev limiter. I don't believe this hurt's the car though, as the limiter just cut's off the fuel at the injector's.
I say put that stall in and see how it works. If your shifting between 5800 and 6000 rpm's your good to go.

I went from a Yank SY3500 to a Vigilante 3600 and YES.. i had to have it re-tuned..

Bouncing off the rev limiter is not good for an LS1. It can bend pushrods.
