happens after driving for a while. When this occurs, I stop, shut the car off for a few seconds and it resets itself and all is good. I replaced all the electronics including the speed sensor switch.
At the track it's perfect..vigilante 3600 is what is in it with a trans-go shift kit.

Im asuming you are saying the tranny shifts to third gear and stays there ,(limp mode)?

Yes, it shifts to 3rd and does not shift up from there.I have to stop, shut it off and let it re-set. Like i said, I have replaced all solonoids, switches and electronics. Thanks for your help.

Is the SES light on? Did you have it tuned for the stall? Sure sounds like its going into limp mode.

Just a note , I hear many people ask if the ses light engine light whatever is on , Now while its true in most cases it will come on when a code is set, I have seen some where it dosnt and the code only shows up in the code history but not realtime scan ,So if your having a problem even though the light may not be coming on its a good idea to get it scanned anyway

Well you could just stop and garag or and autozone or advance first garage would charge average 40 dollars , advance and autozone free , just have them read the codes , and tell them you want the numbers not what they mean , or you can just pickup and inexpensive scanner at one of those

need to turn off p0757 code. computer thinks the stock converter is in there and slipping too much so it goes into limp mode cutting off all gears but 3rd..

yes... Good way to test it is to drive to an area where you can brake stall the car past 3,000 rpm for 5sec or so and see if it locks you out of gears. To reset it all you need to do is turn off the car for a few seconds and it should ride like normal.. If it does then the code should be shut off. Sometimes its the p0756 code. Basically the same thing... This is all of course if you just installed your converter and it started happening..

Mine is doing the same thing. It doesn't happen all the time though. I put the transgo shift kit in it this winter. I think you may have a worn serparator plate. I noticed mine was worn where one of the check ***** sit. I do not have access to replacements over here in Germany so I just cleaned it up a little. It worked fined until later on in the summer. Did you notice any wear on the plate when you installed the transgo?

that problem happens when you put in a higher stall. You start to set off all kinds of FALSE misfires and the computer unlocks the converter. Once your down the road a bit and the missfires fall below a certain point it will lock the converter again(usually for a mile or so then unlock it again as the cycle repeats itself).
you either need to turn off missfire codes or have the misfire detction number increased..

Could the 2-3 valvetrain behind the 2-3 solenoid be sticking...?
