Default 1/4 mile drops from tci ssf 3500 to yank 4000?

I have a tci ss3500 and was wondering if it would be worth going to a yank 4000. Currently i have a tr224 cam and am looking to move into some prc stg 2 heads.

will get much better perfance at the track, probably at least 2 tenths just depends on what you plan do do with the car and if it is a max effort or not...if you are just going to drive it on the street i would stay with the 3500

The STR on the Yank is prob. like 2.6 and that TCI was prob. like 2.1, I would have to say like .2 maybe .3 but its gonna hit ALOT harder

I got the same converter he does. The Yank 4000 will be an upgrade. The STR on the TCI SSF3500 is 2.5, the shift extention is where you will gain the most w/ the Yank, plus it will hold the power better up top.

I like my converter, but there are better options out there, you just gotta pay a little more. Plus the SSF3500 drives pretty loose for a mid size stall.

Look into the PT series if going w/ Yank. I'll be changing mine soon enough, I just dont' know what I'm gonna go with just yet.

I DD a PT4400 and it is a moster!!! I would not go with anything less, although I might have it restalled to 4000 so I can spray.
