Default A4 Problem

.if you punchTHE CAR FROM AROUND 45 OR SO it it drops down to 2 and revs up so fast it bumps the rev ans it feels like it slips .so i man put it in first give it quick hits on the throttle car jumps nice put it in second going a bit faster to get rpms up and do the same quick hits on the throttle and it slips then catches after a second almost feels like your spinning.this is the only gears doing it..please give me some ideas on this one.

has only 31000 on it .its a 2002 trans am

I would still have to go with the band though you may want to at least check the 2nd accumulator spring

yes drop the pan in the rear corner you will see and aluminum part with three 10mm bolts then remove it then remove the piston from inside it and inspect the springs

Damn Terry if it's not one thing with you it's another. Maybe that trans didn't like sitting behind that 383?
