Cars been done now, but
Im not really liking the "Stall" feeling... I preffer the instant responce from my old stock one.
With my set up (in my sig) can i go back to stock, or do i have to keep this thing because im cam'd and all that other good stuff?
To bad i dumped the stock one now i gotta go hunt for one...

It took me all of a couple of weeks to get used to the
TCI 3000 from my stocker. Getting the shift and lock
points you like, can take a bunch of fiddling and I was
never happy with all the lock, unlock, relock crap on the
street in 3rd (so I don't lock in 3rd).
I wouldn't go back to stock. If you have something with
a crazy high STR maybe you're having too much slip but
I found the 3000/2.2 pleasant enough around town.

After I did my headers and exhaust, I hated how the car drove. The stock converter really made itself known, that it was a total mis-match for the car from GM. It was way too tight, would drop down in RPM's way too far shifting to 2nd, so much that it became sluggish to drive around town.
The SS3600 2.5 cured all of that, and then some.

BlackHawk I am really glad to hear that from someone. My car feels sluggish too, and I wanted to get lt but i feared it would make it worse. So now im going to get an SS3600 and get lt at the some time. Hope it will really wake things back up.

Thanks for all the responces guys!
Its the 3000 TCI
It feels like im not getting all my power to the ground, sometimes it feels like it locks then others it feels like i have way more potential power but it just slips. I hate that feeling, i have all new parts (in my sig) and i really just want to feel all the power and quick responce that a stock converter allows you to get.
I guess what im saying is, i miss the tight feeling that my stocker had, it had a quick responce. I usto love being on a roll in any gear with stick shifts and keep up or beat them. Im sure i can still beat the same people since i am no longer stock, but i feel like im missing out on alot of ground with this stall.
What do you guys recommend?

Did you do all those mods at once, or did you do the others first and then add the stall? If the former, then there are a lot of things giving your car a different feel besides just the stall. If the latter, then it sounds like something may be wrong with the converter or your tranny needs some tuning. I have the same one. Sure, it feels different from stock, but it's pretty tight and should be giving you a lot MORE in situations like going from a roll.
I'd find somebody in your area who's familiar with stalls and get an opinion as to whether yours is working right.

If it is a hestitation that occurs because the rpms need to build before the car really lunges forward from a slow roll in traffic, that's a by product of having a stall with stock shift points (assuming your fluid level is correct and filter is clean, etc.).
If you have HP tuners or similar program, raising your Part Throttle shift points makes a huge difference.
To get you started try this:
From zero TPS to 50%, add 2 mph to the 1-2, and 3 mph to 2-3 and 3-4.
Raise your downshifts by 2 mph.
Then go out and drive around. see what feels better and what needs to be raised a little more. You'll build a shift map around your converter and driving style. The same can be done with lock-up if you are unhappy with that.
