Default trans break

i was looking at the pro tree break with reverse manual valvebody. i am going to run a th400 in my car. is there any other breaks that you would suggest to get. i was told that the pro tree is the best.

thanks

That's the one we would use. It is the fastest one on the market. Vince

they are installed on complete different parts of the car.

a line-lock locks your brakes. mostly for burnouts.

a trans brake is in you automatic transmission. it allows you to get the full potential out of your converter and in most cases better 60 ft times.

Trans brake, when the button is pushed and the car is in gear it locks the tranny in between reverse and first. WHen you let off the button it engage completely into first gear. Just like dumping the clutch in an M6.

A line lock locks the front brakes so you can do your burn out. I wouldn't turn your line lock on at the line or you will forget and when you give it gas its prob not gunna go very fast ..

I was pretty sure on the line lock, just didn't know the use of the transbrake. So it's for launching only eh?
Look at my sig and tell me if you think I'd need one or would a footbrake launch be fine?

if you can get it to hook-up and can afford it. there is no reason why i wouldnt get one. you do not have to use it all the time. it has no adverse effect on drivability.

if the track sucks. footbrake it. it the track is hooking. use the brake.

with the stall you have i would definitly get one!
