Don't you mean the bolt together converter?
All converters are welded.------------------------------

That took two minutes on Google http://www.racingconverters.com/asse...tructions.html

I have a pic of one of their bolt together converters. All of the weld together converters pretty much look the same.

because of the parts that they use and you would never need another converter again

Like what? Billet front cover like everyone else, furnace brazed core pump and turbine. Only thing special I see is a mechanical diode.

The price varies more than that depending on your application, different parts used or something, I just paid like $1600 for a weld together from them. They also build it custom to your car, they don't rate them by stall and STR, I think by pumps and stators which I know nothing about. Most people probably don't care and would be perfectly happy with an off the shelf one...I know they perform though, loved my last one and hope this one works out just as good.
