I drive my car every day in the spring, summer, and fall with a 4000 stall. It's not so bad, maybe gas mileage suffers a little bit, but when you smack the throttle, it's got plenty of passing power.

If your gonna go with that size of cam your going to need at least a 4000 stall, anything smaller your not going to take full advantage of the cam. I currently run the MS4 with a PT4000.

IMO, those aren't DD cams, and the stalls they'll require won't be DD stalls. Although a lot of guys seem to be happy with 4000+ converters ^^^^, to me a DD converter is 2800-3600 stall. I'd place driving a cam like those with a 4000+ converter in the "not fun" category.

I DD a Yank PT4400 and I wouldn't have it any other way. I've had a ST3500 and SS4000 in the past and this really isn't any worse for daily driving. It's a little looser than the other two, but not bad. I also still have the stock rear with 3.23's. Some will say bigger converters aren't DD's, but it all depends on you. Even with the cam and the large converter, it's every bit as manageable as it was stock. Like TA1364 said, it's not near as bad as some would make it seem. With that cam, you'll want a bigger converter anyway to get the most out of it.

my Yank SS3600 is PERFECT for daily driving, but with a cam that big i wouldnt go smaller than 4000. I would highly recommend looking into cams a bit longer, thats a huge cam to daily drive with. GL man

I mean i used to drive around with an unlocked 5000 stall th400 no problem. Gas suffered obviously but it was fine to me. People said i "couldnt do it" and it would be "impossible". I drove it 14 hours from West Palm in florida back to NC and had no issue with it at all.
