I have had 3 Yanks. All my converters are Yank. Tight around town and "hang on" when you go WOT.

The correct answer is only a phone call away, but I think the difference in price is because you are comparing a multi disc Yank to a single disc PI. Not an apples to apples comparison.

FWIW, I just got a SS4000 Yank (single disc cnvtr held on by 3 bolts), specially made for a 4L80E and it cost less than $800.

Talked to Yank, PI, and Neal Chance on the phone today. PI recomended a triple disk for $930. Chance doesnt do lockups. Yank sounded more knowledgable. Yank it is.

I'm running a yank now since March. I had a PI (same stall) for three years, sold it with nothing wrong with it. No noticeable difference in my opinion. Same exact 60 foot times. The PI was a little more "street friendly" also in my opinion. If I was doing it again, I wouldn't spend the extra money.
