Default A4+t-brake+3disc Verter,anyone????

Okay im in a little pickel. I have my trans at FLT getting a level 5 upgrade and my converter with PI getting restalled and a 3disc lockup upgrade.

Now PI is telling me they dont recomend the 3 disc with the t-brake because when your on the brake the 3disc could start to try and lock and possibly smoke the clutch. So now its basically one or the other,t-brake of 3 disc verter.

Has anyone used both? What would you guys do? I already spent the $900 on the brake

Well i have decided against the brake. I was looking over my time slips with my smaller 67mm turbo and i was cutting between 1.502 and 1.55 every time. This is with stock springs and shocks.

So i was thinking that how much better can they get with the brake and stock suspension.

I ended up going for the upgraded 3disc and a 3600 stall instead of the 3k that i was running. I also have a 2 step to wire in.

you have stock panhard,lcas & t-arm on there cutting 1.50s? ? ?

i pulled a 1.48 60' @ rt41 with stock springs & shocks front & back, but cut 1 ring off the back springs,with bmr panhard,lcas & t-arm,tho......& ended up running a 11.08 @ 121 with the 1.48 60' with 404 rwhp on straightline dyno...

is that a rossler trans brake? what are you gonna do with it?

No its not totally stock suspension. Stock springs and shocks with a torque arm,and rear lower control arms.

The t-brake with custom pan is sitting new in the box at FLT. Im either going to sell it here on tech or the next customer FLT has that needs one can buy mine. It was $900 shipped from Carl at Rossler. Ill sell it for $870 so you save alittle and shipping.
