mods mods mods help me please!!
So I'm wanting to mod out the V, and all I keep hearing is watch that rear end it'll break on you.. I wanna do a lot to the car but first I wanna fix the factory faults.. ie.. bushings, drive shafts, axles, and the rear end.. can can someone who has the work done or knows where to steer me in the right direction? Bushings arnt a major issue because I live in Alexandria VA near Lindsay Cadillac ( lucky me).. but the rear end and anti wheel hop axles are priority before I start even thinking about the motor. So please help me in any way possible thanks!!

for the diff it self, Gen 3s and 4s are holding up nicely. wheel hops fixes will help the diff. but you still put be able to truly launch to car with the wheel hop band aids.
you have 2 options:
#1: new axles, bushings, support braces, TCP gridle, etc. all in all, this can set you back a few thousands bucks without a new driveshaft.
Gforce Axles: 550
Gforce CTS-V Drivesaft: 1000
TCP gridle: 1500 full, 800 half (i think)
maybe a Gen 3 or 4 complete rear end: right around 2500 or 3000
plus install, unless you do it yourself.
#2: Gforce Fab IRS 9"
which you get all of the above, plus pretty much bullet proof diff.
installed for basic is a little over 7000, and up to 8 or 9 grand with different options Chris offer. ie, carbon fiber drive shaft, locker rear, etc.
with #1, you can still blow the rear, but it will become difficult.
with #2, if you blow that rear, you have over 1200rwhp.
option 2 is the only way to truely fix the rear. anyone else, please correct if my prices are off.

Gforce axles. Lindsey Cadillac will even install them. Or you can drop $5500 and get the bullet proof axles, drive shaft and rear.
