boss 318 18x8 on a 04 cts-v??
was looking to get some new wheels for my 04 V and found these that i like and they seem to be a good price. just wondering if they would fit. they have the same offset and bolt pattern as the rota torque that i know will fit. went into discount tire one day and the guy there said they wouldn't fit. but if the offset and bolt pattern are right then why wouldn't they?

they wouldn't come up cause i wasn't a member of cadillacforums as soon as i joined they showed up. i thought 20's would look too big, but i like them. i think the black chrome will look great on my silver v. thanx for the help. ill make sure and post some pics after i get them. probably gonna have to wait till i get my income tax refund. since just had to come outa pocket 300 dollars for a new radiator. damn the cadillac tax

Narrower width (8" vs 8.5") and the spoke design. With a fixed caliper like the Brembos, the caliper sticks out from the face of the rotor quite a bit, so a wheel that has the proper offset but has flat spokes won't clear. Not saying that's the case with the 18" Boss wheels, but the spoke design would be the most likely reason they wouldn't fit.

I've seen these wheels on a first gen V in person, and they look really nice, but I personally would not want to go narrower than stock on the wheels.

I know nothing about these wheels but I just wanted to give you a heads up that the company in "link 1" is terrible. I tried to buy some wheels from them a few years ago for my Audi and they misstated the offset of the wheels. Long story short they didn't fit and they tried to screw me and didn't end up settling it til my credit card company took the money back from them. Anyway, I don't know if you're looking at buying from them or just posted that as a reference but I just wanted to give a fair warning.

thanx for the heads up VforME. i was going to order them from wheels next after i read some crappy reviews about tulipcity wheels, but i found them on summit a little cheaper. thinking about ordering them with a credit card right now. dont know if i can wait till i get my income tax. decided to go with the 20's since they are the same width as the stock wheels
