Any of you cats install tow hooks on your V1?

Not yet. I have some drawn up I will have made at the same time as the diff girdle. I need to get around to doing that... buddy has a CNC plasma table just waiting for me to give him the drawings.

Would a V look right with a tow hook? Thought that was an import thing... I got one
for the STi but never put it on...lol

Ya they say they are mandatory but I havent had one in the 10 track days I have done with them.

My friends V broke down and they hooked to the control arm I believe and towed it off track.

But I would like to have one if possible, so get it done!

this looks cosmetic unless there is a long extension fabbed up connected to the K member


this looks like its attached to the bumper support but dont know how strong it is for towing

I know that the inside edge of the headlight aligns with the end of the bumper. I installed my radar detector antenna right on the end of mine, using pictures of cars with bumpers on to get an idea of fitment behind the bumper.

Thanks for da pics shady. I'm thinking removeable eye with a plug to cover the hole when not in use. Round shank eye like the factory bmw or porshe and like an electrical knock-out plug to cover hole when not in use.
