Default Ls7 assembly or lightweight flywheel?

I have 36k mi on my 05v. My slave cylinder is leaky, and my dual mass flywheel is shot. I have the opportunity to purchase a lightweight flywheel for next to nothing (from a gto). Should I buy a new slave Spacer and slave cylinder, or go with the ls7 kit?

Light weight flywheel is always the way to go.

Stock slave is much more expensive than an LS7 slave.
Just make sure the flywheel you get will work with whatever clutch you chose.

Im most concerned with daily driveability, and im wondering if the spacer creates driveability problems

I wouldn't think the spacer would cause problems... I'm running a spacer in my setup and it's a solid piece of metal... Should be fine over the long haul

I was also thinking about getting just the std wt ls7 Fw and ls7 slave assuming it would bolt together..I've read that the pp is the same on both clutches.

Assuming the only difference would be the unsprung stock disc, wouldn't that be the equilavent of adding the uuc flywheel to a stock V?

I've been thinking about getting the whole ls7 kit but would like to get just the fw and slave to save money. Fw alone is 200 and slave is 100 from oreilley. My stock clutch is brand new. I don't have plans to boost power anytime soon..

Would this work?

No, the flywheel causes driveability problems. You'll need the Katech spacer if you plan on using the old slave (don't recommend it, but I have one and my old LS2 slave laying around). The LS7 slave is longer, and it's only $94 from O'Reilly. You'll still need a combination of the thin spacers from Tick. Why don't you just bite the bullet and get the OEM LS7 pressure plate / friction disc from eBay like I did? It's $300.
