i sanded mine with 180/320/400 and spray painted it 3 years ago and it still looks great.

i wouldn't throw that transmission mount away. The only way to buy it new is with the crossmember...4 or 500 bucks iirc

I used a kitchen sponge for pot and pan with the raw surface, works pretty good and leaves no scratches on it, didn't paint it after, think here is a diy guidance somewhere for this action...

I know about the PA15-Vette and it was pointless in my eyes. I don't have an Ipod or an Iphone I have a s7 edge. I felt there was no need to pay 150 bucks for something that I can pay 30 for that does the same thing. Plus now I just have a bluetooth transmitter plugged into it which is way better in my eyes.

I should have taken a picture but before I wrapped mine in the cf vinyl I sprayed it with plasti dip. It matched the rubberized stuff on it well enough if your trying to re create that look

Got the coils, wires, and plugs out. Look to be in good shape so won't be replacing any of that at the moment...
Passenger headers are out as well. Will move the steering shaft today after work to get the driver side out.
Prep for motor mounts by the way...

Found some vinyl that almost matches the rest of the brushed silver trim. Not sure I like it yet, might need a small accent somewhere on the console as well...

^^ That looks nice! I am curious as to what it looks like in the car with all the black around it.

reinstalled the front grilles after painting matte black with a rattle can - like the look much more than the *bling* that it came with.

Installed front passenger wheel bearing.

Started installing missing fender liners - until I got frustrated with fitment issues, so off to hardware store today to remedy a good chunk of that.

I'll snap a pic of it in the car when I get home today. Like I said, I think a very subtle accent somewhere near the radio display would go a long way to tying it together.

yeah goo gone was the first thing that popped into my head. mine looks like **** and it bugs me.

i finally got around to hard wiring my escort and mounting it to the mirror. and like Tuckin i put a cheap BT transmitter on my aux jack kit and am happy with no more wires going to the phone.

Dressed up the coils a little as a tribute to my dad who was a police officer and wrapped my Kooks back up.

Love the thin blue line of the coil, awesome idea. Many thanks to your dad for his service.

I charged up the Battery in anticipation of some nice weather so I can take it out of winter hibernation. It rained and hailed today.
