Looking to free up some money to buy a house and Im moving to St Louis latter this year and needed something good for snow.

Just ordered a 2015 Fusion Ecoboost AWD for work and thinking about getting a cheap 4x4 truck as the next project.

Went to a good buddy of mine who will take care of it. Im sure he will be on here shortly as he already put 400 miles on it and is already sourcing an 8.8 Even gave him some of my good chemical guys products to maintain it. Sucks though after 20k miles I went to dump the clutch once on it before it left and I had traction control on =(

I see I see.. Well thats good it went to a good home. I think the Ecoboost is very stout and darn near bulletproof! If only there were an Ecoboost V8...

I cant say I have ever dumped the clutch on my car, maybe a slight feather at 2500rpm but I just dont have the ***** to dump it at say 5k...

Rerouted a rear brake line, bled brakes, installed cat back, phucked up something and now there's a scraping noise when I drive. Not sure if it's the parking brake when I pulled the rear rotor, or if the exhaust is interfering with the driveshaft. Turned out Father's Day wasn't long enough to sort that out.

I still gotta do the trans and coolant. I'll prob just have the shop do the coolant when I get the inspection done in September. I'll get to the trans this summer. I could only find two quarts of fluid so far otherwise Im kind of glad that's all they had, otherwise I might've tackled that as well. The car looks really funny with black TD wheels on the back and stockers with gnarly snows on the front.

Didn't do anything to my V, but I built a calculator so I could compare dyno numbers between different correction factors.

Figured it out. Somehow the parking brake adjuster got bumped, I had to readjust the driver side pads so they wouldn't rub the rotor drum. Next issue was the weld just in front of the exhaust resonator was rubbing on the drive shaft. I had to loosen up all the clamps, did two pull-ups on the X-pipe, tightened everything up, noise is gone, exhaust sounds great. Long day for what seemed like a quick morning stint in the garage.

Got the new steel black lugnuts today. Went to put the wheels back on, and it was going well. Swapped the rear lugs off 2 at a time so I left it on the ground. Switched the right front wheel+lugs, no prob. Then I let the car down, and the rear wheel must've come up a little bit b/c the extension cord for my impact ended up under the rear tire. Then my jack fell apart. Then it started to pour. Fixed the jack, lifted the car off the cord and finished the job in the rain. Nothing's ever easy.

Now I have rear swaybar bushings and motor mounts still to do whenever, and a B&B exhaust on order.

Replaced the rear swaybar bushings and brackets with Energy Suspension 9.5107 (red) universal ones. Now have those, CS front ones, CS cradle bushings, revshift diff bushing (front only), revshift trans insert, AZN modified shifter with HD bearing lower pivot, highflow bolt-in cats, and TD wheels on an otherwise stock car. It's really rewarding how much of a difference it makes all together. I still have some revshift motor mounts to do and a catback on the way.
