I have to agree...I was gonna go with some Vette frc's but DAYYUM I likey. The first pic looks like a router got a little outta control. The 2nd is where it's at. Did you have to make any brackets or anything to hold it from sagging in the middle? I'm all about the free mods.

Hmmm.... I had thoughts about doing something like that... I would have to get a better look at it! Any chance of you doing a writeup on this as well as. Youtube vids to get a better look at it? I'm hoping its just simple cutting? Does it look factory installed or are the cut edges jagged or unsanded looking?

I don't mean to get into anyone's personal life, but can you guys give me an idea what you paid for these cars? I never have priced one and I am about due for a more "practical" car. I have a wife and two boys. Sure, I have a family car, but sometimes it would be nice to have room in both of the cars for the family.

I just bought an 04 about 6 months back...had 61k on it then. I gave 16,300 for it. Pay $330/mo and my insurance is only 90 or so/mo....went way down from my 4 door Tacoma. I have kids myself, and drive it as a sales vehicle... Been a GREAT investment so far.....Catches ALOT of folx by surprise. Alot of car for the $$ you can get one for, I looked and waited for a year before I jumped.

They are very nice cars. Supprisingly enough, I've have only seen 3 in my life. One on the street, one in a parking lot, and one at the race track.
I think I need to start looking for one. I would hate to get rid of the camaro, but it would only make sense to do so.

It's a pig on a 60'...I never run from a dig anymore....hard to get going and SCURRED to blow the rear...from 25-40mph GAME ON. That's the thing I llike most about this car....I've seen 2 V1's (both in same day) and one V2 in 6 mos. Feels cool to have such a rare car that blows the doors off most stock vehicles on the road. I've had a Cobra and multiple Mustangs....For me this has been the best all around by far. It'll top out at 163 with the Navi on and the heated suede seats under me.

^^^in the words of aaron, "my sexy bitch likes 2nd gear pulls"...haha

Thread reply: the second pic looks flippin awesome...nice work to the OP.

for KevinR: you can find these car for mid teen for the 04-05. and the lower mileage (under 35K) 07s are still going from upper 20s to low 30s. mine had 31696 on her, and i got her for 27,400.

I LOVE that one....I got the chance to use it a couple weeks ago and gave Adam props on it. It's soooo fitting for the V.
