Default Need Rotors Suggestions???

i feel like ive dropped a billion dollars into my car in the past week and now i need rotors! in the past week ive
replaced the radiator ($600)
pads ($100)
tie rod, alignment, power steering hose leak (undetermined)
UUC M/M, UUC REAR DIFF BUSHING ($500)

sheesh anyways, the current ones look fine but i think are a cheap ebay knock off x drilled and slotted (came with the car) about a week ago when i brake at high speeds the car shakes, replaced the pads 2 nights ago and still shakes so i assume i need rotors.

what do you guys think about these... the price is right and i like the black finish

I hate to hear all the $$ you've had to drop in the V.....It feels like, "well I've already done this and that, what else can go wrong?"....To me that is. As far as the rotors you have the link to, I'm not familiar with them but I do LIKE the look of them....would look BADASS on the murdered out V.

I've had a few gremlins creep up....I bought the car in April with 60k on it, 9 mos later and I hit 94,000 today. I drive it as my everything car...dd...work...and pleasure. I know that there are some issues that I'm gonna have to address in the NEAR future...ie front end.

I went with these. They are Stoptech blanks and have held up great. I went with the slotted.

I've had them for around 6 months. They look awesome. No rust so far. They are a great rotor for a great price.

If you are trying to save money, why not have your rotors turned? You could also probably get away with just replacing fronts, if it's a vibration you are chasing.

Good call, I had my rotors turned and they lasted about another year before I got new rotors.

It cost me $15/rotor to have them turned. Cant beat that.

Did you get the J hook or slotted? I was waiting for the J hooks but they took too long so I did slotted.

Yeah, the powdercoated hub loooks great. It looks way better than the nasty stock ones.

I'm not sure if they can be turned. I went with the slotted basically for looks. I doubt my daily driving will benefit from them. I knew that I didnt want cross drilled due to cracking, and the stock ones were too plain.

There is only a certain time they are able to be turned, if you catch them early enough you can. But if you run them all the up to the end then it's to late. The rotors have limits on them and the V's are already really close to the minimum required to turn them. So if you put it off and just drive on them that extra couple months it's to late. I barely caught them in time. When I have to replace them I'll probably go with those stop techs too.
