Default How to Blow your Differential on a 2004

As the title says!

If you haven't seen one blow, this is what it looks/sounds like!

No wheel hop, did a small burnout out of the water box, then took off at around 1500 RPM and rolled quickly on the throttle... KAPOW!

I got a standing applause from the crowd!

Enjoy!

Why did you keep rolling?? You just kept spilling oil over the track surface. Sorry I just find it annoying when people do that at my local track. Next time stop right away, and pull it to the side.

Sucks about your diff.

Didn't realize it was the diff until I tried to put it in gear, and it wouldn't go anywhere. I kinda did that thing where you just kinda stare at the dash board like an idiot, and then went "Uhh..." took it out of gear, put it back in gear, tried to go, and no bueno.

I know I pissed off a couple of the track guys.

As is my '05 at 13K miles, but I'm glad I have a warranty.

Seriously, a buddy of mine on facebook said the same thing! lol

I replied "I think they made this diff with bits of aluminum scrap and JB Weld in the first place!"

Another friend also said "VTEC Kicked in, Yo!" I thought that was great too

Got another "band aid" diff on the way, should be back on the road by this coming weekend!

I hope your car doesn't accidentally catch on fire for real...insurance companies have internet investigation teams that view, youtube and forums.

My buddy was dropped (later reinstated after a fight) from State Farm for track videos they found of his V on YouTube.
