Cool CTS-V carbon fiber

Wanted to show off a set of carbon fiber fog bezels on a CTs-V that my friend did. Came out great.

Came out great considering how complex the shape is.

f-ing V2s.....Why do they get all the carbon fiber!? All I want is a carbon fiber hood and trunk lid, maybe some fenders to drop a few hundred pounds while looking awesome! Is that so much to ask!?

Hate to be that guy.... But the hood is just over-doing it for me. I like the nice accent pieces like the fog bezels and the lower lip, those look awesome, but that hood just kills that entire V2 for me.

No problem. That's not my friend's car. He simply did the carbon fog bezels. He's done the splitter & rear valance on another V as well.

Would he be interested in making a few things for a v1?

Oh yeah!? How about a hood? Simple enough. Like stock is fine with me, I'm just interested in weight loss. Keep the price around 8-900? And a trunk lid? I'm sure that would cost more but that thing is heavy! If you have had bad trunk gas shocks you know!

Default carbon fiber

The trunk u would save some weight, but I know the stock hood is pretty light.even lighter than the fiberglass Specter.Your wasting your $$$IMO

True story.

The specter is actually heavier than stock

not wasting money for a different shape. +3 on the trunklid. I think a shifter bezel would be nice.

Trunk lid is heavy as crap, so a plus one on that. I Could we get a CF strut tower brace? Seems like another item that just needs to be ridgid with low deformation qualities. Size it in the same manner as the BMR brace, but cut the weight severely by using CF.

Aside from the trunk, which would be wildly expensive considering its complex shape, I can't think of any other piece that I'd deem worthy of replacing. There really aren't that many heavy parts on this car, and the trim pieces are very limited.

Replacement cf panel for the moonroof in the V1. This would be a substantial weight savings from the highest point of the vehicle.
