Default Project 69 Camaro "Darkness"

Hey guys!

New to the forum so I figured I'd post up some pics of a project we have in the works right now.

Its called project Darkness because the car (and everything in it) will be black or a variation of black (satin black, flat black, semi gloss black you get the point)

Not really too much to look at right now, but it gives you a pretty good idea of what's to come.
The rear rims are 20" x 14" wide with a massive Mickey Thompson street radial on them. Massive lip on them, I could probably curl up inside one of these rims haha.

The chassis itself is going to be rediculous...cant explain, I'll just post pics as we go along.

As for a plowerplant, the owner is still deciding what engine block will take the abuse two turbos are going to throw at it

Joe! You're far better off here rather then playing with those grenading wankels!
Where did you get the motor/trans?

Hey Cam, the trans we picked up from our buddy Bob Hilton, Hilton Motorsports. Great guy. The engine in the car is just an empty block for mock-up purpose only, we are looking for an LQ9 cast block to build. If you know where I can get a bare block cheap, let me know.

Hey Paul, yes same RPM that wastes time playing with Rotaries lol. Shouldn't say that, Rotaries are a ton of fun! We are just expanding our line of work we do. If you have any buddies looking to do an LS1 swap in their FD's let them know we are far more than capable to do it

Long block wont really do me much good since everything is getting replaced. Really only need the bare block. pm me a price for both though if you want to get rid of it. Thanks!

Nice looking build going there do you have a completion date goal? You going for show or go? Or.. both? Regardless I'm a fan of what i see thus far and will be following this build for sure

Completion date is around January-Febuary 2009. The owner of the car wants to beat the living crap out of it on the road course, not so much for show lol. I layed out a 1000hp twin turbo drivetrain setup for him to decide if thats the route he wants to go.
Hopefully he goes for it haha
