Default 750 holley dp mach. seconds?

I'm building a l99 with ls3 conversion. Just ordered a 229/236 cam package from tsp. I could be off on the cam numbers as I don't have them in front of me. I plan on doing trunnion upgrade with comp cam kit. Does the 750 holley carb seem to be the correct one for the job. This is my first v8 and carb build. This is totally new territory for me. I plan on running a super t10 behind it. Any other ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I'm a newb. I'm going to be installing this in my 240sx drift car.

750 should work fine. Having said that the cam and intake have an impact on the carb size, also gearing, intended use, RPM range and vehicle weight.

The best thing you can do is contact a reliable carb builder with all the info to recommend a carb.

Good luck.

750 will work great. Probably 90% of the guys on here run one. You are probably moving enough air to use an 850, but the 750 should be easier to set up and tune for a newby.

I think that the pro form me and some others use as well as quick fuel 750s might flow more than a stock 750. Could be wrong.

The new Holley 750 HP has an idle by pass to help with bigger cams.

A DP carb with a manual box will be fine. That cam isn't huge, but not knowing the LSA and intended use doesn't help.
A little more info will help a lot

So I've found these 2 part numbers: 12625033 and 12499224. From what I've looked up they have the same specs. Both GM performance blue springs....so which ones do i get?

A 750 CFM 4150 series Holley with mechanical secondaries will be a great choice. Just be ready to tune the accelerator pump discharge nozzles for throttle response and maybe adjust the main jets for optimal air fuel ratio.
