6.0 Swap into 98 Camaro?
Hi,
I'm new here and had a few questions.
I blew the motor in my 98 Camaro and I came across a 6.0 motor out of a 2005 Chevy Silverado. What all will I need to change to get this to fit in my car.
Thanks!

Thanks! My main concern is the oil pan looks slightly different than my old one and this block has lines coming out of the back of it. They appear to be for an oil cooler. How can I block these off since my car doesn't have one?
Thanks guys!

Post in the engine forum & you'll probably get better ansawers.
You will need to use:
Your oil pan
Your Accessories
Covers from the 6.0
Cam position sensor is in a different location. You will have to move it.
TSP sells a kit with a wiring harness extention, but you can cut it and extend with wire.
I would change out the cam. That truck 6.0 puts out less power than your LS1 did.
