It means that it has options that SLP added when they did the conversion from a Z28 to the SS. On the passenger side door, there should be a sticker showing the options that SLP added.

Y2Y would be on your RPO sticker. If it's not there then there's no second sticker.

Then you are missing the other Y2Y sticker. I suggest you email SLP or call them with your VIN# and they will give you all the SLP options your car came with aswell as its BUILD#. You can find them to the right of the screen as your surfing this site.

The advice to call SLP and give them your VIN number to find out if your car was built with any Y2Y options is very sound. Until you do this I might be able to shed some light on why your car has Y2Y on the RPO sticker but no options. When a SS was ordered you didn't have the specify the Y2Y options until a later time, sometimes dealers would order Y2Y then decide against or forget to order the options through SLP Engineering. Another possablity is that your SS could be a 2002 GM and SLP had customers who decided later after ordering the SS with only the WU8 option that they wanted the 2nd sticker content (Y2Y), this was a hassle to get this added to an already submitted order after a certain time, and many times failed leaving an unsatified customer. The decision was made to put the Y2Y option on all WU8 cars in 2002 so that if the customer or dealer decided they wanted the second sticker content at a later date (even up to right before the car arrived at SLP Engineering's facilities) they could.

*This is all based off of what I remember reading 6 years ago on the SLP Engineering Forums, so I could have messed up some of it but that is the jist of it that I got back then.

That is absolutely correct! As I was on the SLP Eng. boards back then, and I recall Dave Hamburger and Jeff Yachnin discussing this change in policy for ordering second sticker content.
