Default 84 camaro pics :)

hope you all enjoy the pics, sorry if blurry, didn't have my tripod with me.

And yes I already dropped the rear by removing the rubber isolators and cutting 1/2 a coil, so it sits lower now.

Awesome. Love the color. Same as my first Camaro love...

Few Q's... Is that an 84 front bumper cover? When did they stop making the little slits in front?

Also, that's a 91-92 Z28 Spoiler, right?

Great car, man!

85-90 style ground effects and front nose with the 91-92 spoiler. I hated the look of the 3 piece rear spoiler, so I bought this one when the car was in paint.

another mini photo shoot here.....
with the way the suspension is setup the pass. side is 1" taller than the drivers side, so that's why the pass side still looks a little high compared to the drivers side, also I'm parked on a lawn

Thats a sweet looking thirdgen! Love the color.

It's one of those thirdgens that has slicks and skinnies and doesn't look redneck. Very nice car my friend! What kinda numbers you puttin down?

it moves out alright this year, next year is a TT blow through carb swap, so we'll see how it does then. Took off my nitrous earlier this year already anticipating these parts which are taking forever to come in Already have my 2 turbos, waiting on the fmic, bov, and turbo headers to ship to me. Getting the custom ground cam shortly as soon as the speed shop gets back to me on the specs that the turbo guy is picking out for me. Guy told me that 15 pounds of boost in a sbc is a "mild" combo so he doesn't have custom cam specs and would have to wait on the cam grinder to get back to him.

thanks tim, trying to keep the turbos hush hush on some sites, but certain people on TGO who can't keep their mouths shut post it everywhere, so no reason to bother to hide it now.

That' s a great looking 3rd gen. Looks like you' ve put a lot of work in into it! Considering the work and mods you' ve done, I would get a set of drag springs if I were you. They would be a lot better than cut springs. Cutting your springs throw the dampening rate out of whack. Get that car to the track and get us some ET's!

they don't make drag springs for the rear of these cars anymore. Cutting 1/2 a coil out of the top doesn't really affect the rates. Just means I can run a slightly different pressure in the drag bags in the rear. Car weight transfers perfectly.

Are you shitting me? As many 3rd gens as there are out there, and they don' t make drag springs?? You could always use some rear springs for a 4th gen, but I guess you' re screwed on the front springs.

I have cut stock springs on the rear of my car. My car cuts consistant 1.28-1.30 60's on drag radials.
