hi ! thanks ! I kept the original power steering pulley from the truck,I know you can use one from an s-10 with a 2.8 and grind one of the bolts than hold the pump, she's almost 1 inch smaller. it's really thight all the way around, 1 coil is very close to the heater box, the air filter rub a little in the hood brace ang if you look closely, you'll see that I needed to grind the top of the alternator !!! i wanted to keep the original hood so this is why i decided to make my own mounts. scuse my english, I usually speak french, hope you understand what I wrote ! José.

mine runs great too and didn't have any problem yet need to put a good stall and work on tuning the carb a little. the 4 barrels wasn't working on the engine dyno and made 461 hp ant 428 of torque it's only with a cam, everything else is untouched

NICE NUMBERS!!!
that rwhp on a Dyno jet?

What cam you running?
What gear do you have?
You plan on racing 1/8 or 1/4 mile? Or just a nice street car?
With a stock 6.0 block and heads your compression is still regular gas friendly.

no, these numbers are at the flywheel, it's an all stock 6.0, didn'.t even pulled the stock heads on it, 3.73 gears, runs on regular gas. custom cam

the cam specs sheet says ----- INT EXH
adv dur: 285 297
dur @ .050: 232 244 lobe sep: 110
valve lift .542 .596

the 4 barrel vacuum wasn't working on the dyno but we didn't even seen it, it made these numbers on 2 barrels,we were expecting 492 hp. i think it's good for a cam only engine with manifolds

the guy that have the dyno build stock cars, hot rods and he can make custom cams and give the specs to comp cams to have it custom grinded. this guy live in my small town and he installed the cam in the engine before the dyno. i trust him a lot.

I saw an article in super chevy magazine in december i think of the same engine with afr heads, headers and cam and it didn't made 495 hp.
