Default 03 350Z 5.3 swap

I started my swap this weekend, not useing any kit just making custom parts to do it. I'm using a 5.3 and going with a TH350.

I'll keep this updated as I get more done but it will be slow going as I don't have much time to work on it.

Nothing yet, I need to do some fab work on the drivers side but I think I will just make a bracket.

where the red is on the crossmember is the stock motor mount bolt hole

only off around 3", think I could just fab up a bracket

Are you using the 5.3 apposed to the 5.7 or 6.0 for any other reason than cost?

The biggest thing was the $$, they are cheap and easy to find.

That would be my guess, plus a 5.3 in 5.7 trim makes only slightly less hp.

Keep up the good work, I am looking to do the same here soon. I have an LS6 intake that I will be using and some how use a 90mm tb. Not not sure if the cam i have will work on the 5.3, its a Lunati 231/237 595/598 @ 112.
