day one is in the bag. got a little done got some pics. should have the trans mount and drive shaft done tommorow. then the wonderful headers to build.

Holy moly. Those headers will be an engineering wonder.

I might have waited on the driveshaft until the headers were done just in case you need to move the engine for any reason.

Should be a handful when you are done.

I did a '74 B with a Rover V8 and it was tight - I cant imagine the LS1.

Ford small blocks are a popular conversion for these things and they often run the headers through the wheel wells

day 2. got the front and rear ends done along with the drive shaft and trans crossmember. tires and wheels mounted up and most everything mounted. already tired of this car. i thought airplanes were tight on space.

I like the fact that you made the parts fit the car instead of hacking up the body. The front x member looks sweet with the coil over. Nice work

its an 8 inch ford with 3.23s and a locker. currie built the axles.

other header done. exhaust finished even got the cats under there. all fab work complete. just wiring and radiator to go.

there is another guy with a LS1 BGT and it looks like he has the same front x member and suspension. Where did you get yours and who makes it?
