Default 1994 camaro 5.3LSX/TH350 swap 56k is dead

well over the past couple months i prepped/sanded/painted the car and now its time for the motor swap so i figured i'd post some pictures of everything so far


build list

94 v6 camaro

5.3L LSX 90k
LS1 intake (need to change to LS6 or vic jr. with an elbow)
28.8# injectors
218/224 .550/.550 114lsa
TSP pushrods
LS6 springs
ARP rod bolts
1 3/4" Stainless LT's (gonna go Catted H and Magnaflow bullets dumped at the axle)

TH350
B&M shift kit
hughes adapter
3500 stall

as far as suspension goes all i have so far is Double Adjustable LCA's but i will be getting a tunnel mounted torque arm ( or Track pack) and ill be building a set of subframe connectors

for the rear end i have 4.10's and posi

so far what i need for the car is


ls1 k member
solid motor mounts
steering rack
tunnel mounted tq arm
tranny cooler
exhaust
tune

then i have some little interior parts that were broke when i got the car that need replaced along with the headlights and tail lights

Nice to see someone else use their engine hoist for that purpose besides me.

Looking good. Why did you paint the car first?

well one day my brother talked me into starting sanding it so once i started i couldnt stop or it would go to waste...


but yah i wish i would of done it the other way... the engine bay will be getting painted the same Hugger Orange here soon while the motors out.

Nice job on the paint... What harness are you using... I'm doing a 94 formula to LS1 and have a 98 harness that I'm working on rewiring

i rewired a 2002 truck harness using www.lt1swap.com

thanks, did anyone else have a problem fitting truck coils with their ls1 intake and rails?

Yes the truck coils hit the Ls1 fuel rail, but you can CAREFULLY bend the line up and it will work fine.

i bent it over so it goes inbetween the coil connection and the bolt

I have the Circle Truck Coils and the L76 Intake with LS2 Rails..I didn't have a problem then again I had to shim the Rails up 1/2" due to the LS2 Injectors.

yah i bent it to the side and got it to fit...


im contemplating motor plate or solid mounts still i will be making either so...


still need a TQ arm

I would use a LS1 K-member and Poly Mounts..that's just my opinion though..it's a hell of alot easier to get stuff to line up. Poly Mounts are just a bitch to set the preload on..lol

I'm loving the UMI Adjustable T/A with the Relocation Cross Member..

ill most likely end up with something along the lines of the relocation crossmember...


and yah ive been looking at using an ls1 k member there just so hard to find in my price range
