Very nice!!
I Just started a swap on my 91. I found your solution to the transmission problem very helpful. I hope you don't mind if I contact you for help with the wiring when the time comes.

Forgot to update this thread...

Here it is at the dyno... It was dynoed on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. The tuner said that it might have some more in it, but we will have to dyno it in second gear due to the 2.59 rear maxing out the dyno speed.

Took the car down to the 1/8th a few weeks ago...This was my first time to the track in a while.

The conditions were 62.1 F 65 % Humidity 30.04 in Pressure

DA 689 feet above sea level.

My top three runs of the night were:

1. This was my final pass of the night. It was against a surprised C5 driver. He did a 8.216 @ 84.92

60' 1.864
1/8 7.927
MPH 91.09

2. Against C6 Z06. He did a 7.738 @ 98.78

60' 1.861
1/8 7.929
MPH 92.46

3. Against another C5 but he missed 2nd gear. 10.603 @ 45.60 for him.

60' 1.898
1/8 7.973
MPH 92.53

I need to purchase some tires now...

Next up is installing an A/C system on it... I'm still exploring my options but am looking to finish it up quick so I can take the car into paint in a few weeks.

Default 4L70E to 700R4 tailshaft alignment

Hi, I am looking to put the 4L70 in my 84 Vette. I have the 4L70 and just bought an 88 C4 tailshaft housing, which seems to be the correct parts. However, the tailshaft itself is too short to accomodate the new housing plus the 1.5'' 6 to 4 bolt adapter. Did you have to put in a longer tailshaft? It was not clear if you had changed just the tailshaft housing or changed tailshafts as well. Or did you extend the collar on the driveshaft to make up the difference?
Thanks.
