Default My project for the GF

Well my gf who is always with me at car functions has been trying to get this going for awhile lucky for me i can do it for her hahha.

Here is the car. Had a Sr20 and 5 speed and yanked that out.

And whats going on with it.
Motor is out of a 2000 vette
T-56
Magic Stick 3 (MS3)
Ported 853 Heads(2000 heads)
Trunnion Kit
Ls6 intake manifold
Melling high volume oil pump
ARP Rod and Head bolts
Ls2 Chain
Ls7 lifters

Cleaning it up.

Much better now

Came with a GTO oil pan (required if using a factory oil pan, which i'm not) pulled off the oil pan and found out it had ARP rod bolts, checked all those and the bearings and its good to go

Custom oil pan and drive shaft. A company named Sikky makes swap kits that comes with most of the mounts and this pan and driveshaft

Motor and trans mount from Sikky

Car is at my buddys shop getting the Custom exhaust done. Will be Dual 3" with Xpipe and vibrant race mufflers both exiting on the left hand side.

Wiring needs cleaned up and some other things needs done until she is ready to hit he road but its close right now.

Very well done, I wish that my girlfriend was into cars like yours so clearly is. She is a lucky woman, it looks like you are putting a lot of effort into making that a very well built machine!

Thanks guys! yep she for sure loves the whole car thing and can't wait to get the car back on the road again. I already have the base tune in the car it will need some tweaks here and there and soon after getting it all done ill hit the dyno and see how it does.
Goal is a street car and have fun at the track wit it.

Weighed in at 2720 when it had the SR20 and 5 speed in it and also had working A/C

LS1s and T-56s gain about 50-70lbs in these cars over the SRs last time i checked. Well while the car was down we deleted all the AC stuff/Switched to the light weight carpet as you can see and also removed some other weight in the car. Hoping to weight right around 2700 with the LS swap and make around 430-450 area to the wheels which should be pretty easy .

Will be a fun little roll car for sure.

Not to sound gay but that intake piping painted to match the valve covers would probably go well with it. Nice build.
