Default Holley LS Accessory drive FEAD- anybody use it?

Just as the title says, anybody use or see the Holley LS accessory drive brackets? I see summit and jegs are about two weeks out on shipping.

I was going to use C5 corvette brackets for my nova, but it looks like I can reuse my truck balancer and water pump with the holley brackets and they are not much more than the vette brackets from GM. Also looks like the AC compressor is up high so it wouldnt interfere with the frame like the compressor in the vette location.

I have been trying to decide which route to go on my conversion too. I like the option of reusing my truck water pump and crank balancer too (mine are new). It doesn't look like the truck PS pump is used???

Looks like a set option, but I kind of like the Kwik bracket better.

From what I could see it looks like it uses a Vette P/S pump, and possibly a vette alternator. The .pdf they have is very detailed for the water pump, idler and balancer part numbers and applications but I couldnt find anything on the P/S pump or alt. I dont have those laying around and they all cost about the same, so not really a big deal in my case.

According to the information in the pdf. the alternator is the same part used on the 04 Silverado pickup with the 5.3 ltr. engine and the power steering pump is indeed from a Corvette. This is good that the alternator is more easily obtained should a failure occur on the road.

Dang, I had a different .pdf that looked similar. Truck alternator and corvette power steering pump will be perfect for my application, since my harness is already wired for the truck alternator.

Looks like my Corvette accessory set up with the exception of the R4 Compressor bracket and idlers. I think their a/c bracket and compressor set up looks more natural and OEM than the Kwik set up. Although, the Sanden compressor Kwik uses is a more reliable peice than the R-4 compressor in my opinion.

Just based off "looks" wise. Just appeals more to me then that cast aluminium look of the Holley & factory bracket.

Just to add. From what I read Holley is going to have available sometime in the fall or winter a sanden style A/C bracket similar to the R4 bracket.

The Kwik kit is certainly a solid peice, but it looks home made.

I can agree with that. I could route some aluminium with my router table, wouldn't be much to making my own brackets. Or even mockup with wood and have a nice CNC piece made.

That looks so much nicer than the Kwik setup. Wish I waited for this to come out

Do you have some insider information to believe they arent ready, or are you just saying that? I asked Pace if they stock it or drop ship from Holley, but havent heard back yet.

Maybe someone from Holley could chime in to answer some questions regarding a timeline on these new items. I believe they are a major sponsor here.

If they wouldn't mind answering these questions it would be a huge help. I'm at the point where I would want to sell my Kwik brackets and star from scratch with the Holley parts with my F-body accessories. The A/C setup looks a thousand times better than anything else offered, especially since you can use the factory lines for the most part.
