1968 chevy pickup ls1 swap We started a 1968 chevy pickup and decided to make it a fun truck we could drive anywhere. this is what we have so far. yes i know its not a short bed.

Looking good. Love these older trucks(67-87) I wish I had taken more pics when I had done my build, but not much of a photo taker until its too late into the project.

Ok so we got some key parts in and finally had some time to work on the project.
Parts list:
motor mounts
camaro oil pan
headers
radiator
radiator support
cross member
everything was going pretty smooth until we tried to mount the motor with the AC compressor on. There was just not enough room so we had to notch the frame a little. It fits barely...
progress is a little slow I know should be getting the cab back soon to start mocking up linkages and running wires.
Going to be using this for reference

How much room do you have with the sump to crossmember? My truck pan hangs down a bit, but plenty of room to Xmember. What engine mounts did you use? Those headers look the ducks guts. Wish we had that stuff out here.
Whats the radiator out of?, and how are you going to do the bottom hose? It looks the same as my radiator, and I ran the hoses over at chassis level to hook up. Thats how our cars were when LS engines 1st fitted.

As far as the cross member its a universal piece I can put it were ever I want so no clearance issues there. If your talking about the oil pan thats a different story this motor came out of a Gto so the pan would not fit in this case I had to order a camaro pan. Ill have to double check the name of the motor mounts and the radiator has penalty of room to play with to it is also from a camaro.
